Freelance Google Shopping: sell your products with a ROAS you can verify
A clean Merchant Center feed, Shopping and Performance Max campaigns structured by margin, and purchase tracking that reports your real revenue. For Shopify, WooCommerce and PrestaShop.
Google Shopping shows your product before the click
On Google Shopping, shoppers see the photo, the price and your store name before they click. Traffic is more qualified than a text ad: the person already knows what they’ll find. For an online store it is usually the most profitable Google Ads lever, provided the product feed and the sales measurement are flawless.
That’s where most Shopping accounts lose money: a feed with poorly built titles, products silently disapproved, and a purchase event that reports half the orders or a wrong value. The algorithm then optimizes on an imaginary ROAS.
What I set up
- Merchant Center account, site verification, shipping, tax and return policies
- Optimized product feed: titles, Google product categories, GTINs, attributes, compliant images
- Resolution of Merchant Center disapprovals and warnings
- Standard Shopping or Performance Max campaigns, structured by margin, brand or category
- Full e-commerce tracking: view_item, add_to_cart, begin_checkout, purchase with value and currency
- Monthly reporting on real ROAS, reconciled with your back office
Standard Shopping or Performance Max?
Standard Shopping campaigns leave you in control: bids by product group, visible search terms, exclusions. Performance Max delegates more to Google and adds YouTube, Display and Gmail, with less visibility into what is happening.
My practice: start with standard Shopping when the account is young or the catalog small, to learn what sells and at what cost. Move part of the catalog to Performance Max once conversions are numerous and reliable, keeping best-sellers or the brand under control if needed.
Shopify, WooCommerce, PrestaShop
I install directly in your back office. On Shopify, through the Google & YouTube app and the native data layer; on WooCommerce and PrestaShop, through a properly generated feed and a complete data layer in Google Tag Manager. Your store stays clean, no unnecessary plugins.
Why purchase tracking decides profitability
On Shopping, Google bids product by product based on the conversion value it observes. If half the purchases never come through, it under-invests in your best products. If the value includes sales tax and shipping, it over-invests in carts that aren’t profitable.
Before launching or taking over a Shopping account, I verify the purchase event end to end: fires on the confirmation page, value consistent (with or without tax, but consistently), unique transaction ID to avoid duplicates, Consent Mode v2 in place for your European visitors if you have any. The QA report shows you every event tested, with screenshots.
Google Shopping pricing
Prices in euros, excluding VAT, no long-term commitment. Every setup includes a QA report with screenshots.
E-commerce launch: account + first campaign + tracking
Account, Shopping feed if needed, first campaign, purchase tracking with reliable revenue.
Google Ads or Meta Ads management
Ongoing optimization, monthly reporting, budget and bid adjustments. Month to month, no long-term contract.
E-commerce tracking only
Full data layer, checkout funnel, purchase and revenue made reliable, if you already manage your own campaigns.
Your questions
My products are disapproved in Merchant Center. Can you fix that?
Yes. The most common disapprovals come from missing information (shipping, returns, policies), non-compliant images or price mismatches between the feed and the page. I handle each reason and bring the account back into compliance.
Is Google Shopping worth it for a small catalog?
Yes, from a few dozen SKUs, if margins allow. A small catalog is actually easier to manage: each product can have its own bid and its own tracking.
Do I need a big budget?
No, but you need a steady one. Google Shopping needs continuous data to optimize. I give you a range suited to your CPCs and margins before we start.
Can you take over an existing Shopping account?
Yes. I start with an audit of the feed, the structure and the tracking, then restructure without breaking the performance history.
